Nasir Hossain Biography

Another young all-round performer Nasir Hossain was known as Mr. Consistent and he is a batsman of lower-middle-order as well as an off-spinner. He is an excellent fielder as well. Career of Nasir Hossain

 

Nasir Hossain is a right-handed batsman and right-handed spinner who had showed his potentiality in his first match against Zimbabwe scoring 63 runs, which is the highest ODI debut runs for a Bangladeshi in 2011. He is considered as the most entertaining cricketer of Bangladesh team and performs magnificently his job cricket world.

There are few players have possessed the capacity to reinforce their position in the Bangladesh cricket team as fast as Nasir Hossain has done since his entry. He immensely hit his maiden in 2013 against Sri Lanka at Galle. He has earned a valuation for the fans with his helpful batting in late order, athletic fielding and off-Spin. He enjoys for the most part the batting of Mushfiqur Rahim and Mohammad Ashraful in the Bangladesh team.

Nasir Hossain is one of the dependable cricketers of Bangladesh team. Once up on a time he was called MR. Constant, because after coming into crease he forgets to backing into pavilion until his team win.

Nasir Hossain is a Bangladeshi cricketer who plays for Bangladesh National Cricket Team. Nasir is an All-rounder. He is a lower middle order batsman and right arm off-break bowler. He is also a brilliant fielder, a livewire in the field. Nasir is a team player, always plays for the team. Often his efforts go unnoticed, but that doesn't bother him.

Nasir has an ice cool head over his shoulders, that keeps him calm under pressure. He seems to enjoy tough situations, on many occasions, he won matches for Bangladesh from tight situations. That's why Bangladeshi cricket fans call him "The Finisher". Nasir is a relaxed, funny character on the field. He is full of energy and enthusiasm. Nasir is regarded as the entertainer among his teammates.

Nasir often comes to bat when the team is in danger, or in need of quick runs. So, the pressure is always on him. But, he can handle these situations very well. Nasir also provides crucial breakthroughs with his part-time off-break. He can even change the course of the match with his fielding, he took many spectacular catches for Bangladesh.

Nasir Hossain joined BKSP (Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishtan) in 2004, he was 13 years old then. Soon he caught eyes of BKSP coaches. Nasir played 2008 U-19 cricket world cup for Bangladesh U-19 team.

Nasir's continuous impressive performances earned him a national call-up. He made his debut against Zimbabwe in 2011. On his very first international appearance, he showed his class. Bangladesh was at 58/6 when Nasir came into the crease. From there, he scored 63 runs and took the team total in a respectable position. Bangladesh eventually lost the match, but Nasir's performance was praised.

In November 2011, Pakistan toured Bangladesh. Nasir scored his maiden ODI hundred in the 2nd match of the series. Nasir got his first test hundred against Sri Lanka in 2013, when Bangladesh toured them. Nasir scored 73 runs from just 59 balls in the 1st ODI of the same tour. His efforts were in vain as Bangladesh ultimately lost the match. But, in the 3rd ODI, he was able to win the match for his team as he scored 33 runs from 27 balls under immense pressure.

Nasir Hossain continued his good work with the bat in hand, and slowly turned himself as an all-rounder. At present, he is a regular member of Bangladesh National Team.

Nasir Hossain represented Bangladesh in the cricket world cup 2015. Nasir played for Khulna Royal BengalsRangpur Riders, Dhaka Dynamites in Bangladesh Premier League. In 2015 BPL, he was the icon player of Dhaka Dynamites.
